Great West Way Discoverer
The Great West Way Discoverer travel pass gives you unlimited rail travel along a 200km- (125 mile)-long touring route between London and Bristol.
The Great West Way touring route follows ancient routes (and Kingdom Isambard Brunel’s pioneering railway) between London and Bristol taking in idyllic countryside, lovely villages and historic towns and cities including Bath, Salisbury and Windsor.
The travel pass includes both rail and bus routes and it is possible to buy a pass for the complete route or just the eastern or western section.

Great West Way Discoverer Global
The global Great West Way Discoverer pass covers the entire touring route between London and Bristol and it allows you to travel from either London Paddington or London Waterloo railway stations. It includes travel on trains operated by Great Western Railway and South Western Railway and includes the Thames branch lines to Henley-on-Thames and Windsor and Eton and it allows you to visit Amesbury, Andover, Avebury, Basingstoke, Bath, Bradford-on-Avon, Bristol, Devizes, Marlborough, Oxford, Reading, Salisbury and Swindon.
It also includes travel on several bus routes including:
- Thames Travel routes X2 and X32 between Oxford and Wantage (via Didcot Parkway)
- Thames Travel River Rapids services (routes X38, X39 AND X40) between Reading and Oxford stopping en route in Henley-on-Thames and Wallingford.
- Salisbury Reds X5 services (Salisbury–Amesbury–Pewsey–Marlborough–Swindon)
- Stagecoach 49 Trans Wilts Express (Swindon–Trowbridge)
- Stagecoach Gold 55 (Swindon–Royal Wootton Bassett–Chippenham)
- Stagecoach Gold S6 (Swindon–Faringdon–Oxford)
